What Have I Been Up To?

I use the summer to design new patterns. One of my new patterns is "Cross Tracks", shown below. This is a 36-1/2" x 36-1/2" table topper or wall quilt. After the covers are printed I'll add it to my web site.

We leave on vacation friday. Heading for Oregon to visit family and friends. Will be gone for a couple of weeks.

Sharing a little tip with you. I keep a scissor on my ironing board to trim threads or frayed edges. Most of the time I need to use the whole surface of the ironing board so I find myself moving the scissors around. Then when I need them I can't find them. Their either under a pile or among so many other things I can't see them. No more of that. I tied a ribbon to the scissors then pinned the opposite end of the ribbon to the edge of the ironing board cover. It hangs there waiting to be used.

All for now. I'm off to wash clothes, pack medicines, and catch up on phone calls. I'll need another vacation just to rest from getting ready for this one.
